Swindler & Swindler is an illustration studio based in the south of France, founded by Margot Reverdy and Rémy Boiré. From a small, light-filled workspace — affectionately called the "burose" and painted entirely pink — the studio creates bespoke illustrations for brands and maisons around the world, working across packaging, objects, special editions, and printed matter.

Rather than developing a single signature style, we've chosen a more attentive approach. Each project comes with its own story, its own constraints, and its own personality, and we like to respond to that context instead of imposing a fixed aesthetic. What matters to us is not consistency of style, but consistency of care — precise lines, balanced compositions, and a sense of craftsmanship that runs through everything we do.

Most projects start with a conversation, followed by sketches, exchanges, and close dialogue. Being a small studio allows us to stay hands-on and responsive — thoughtful work, delivered when it's needed.

From a small, light-filled workspace — affectionately called the "burose" and painted entirely pink — the studio creates bespoke illustrations for brands and maisons around the world, working across packaging, objects, special editions, and printed matter.
Over the past decade, we've had the chance to collaborate with clients such as Moët & Chandon, Shiseido, Ralph Lauren, Lady M, and Grimaud, designing visuals that live beyond the screen: boxes that are kept, books that are collected, objects meant to be held, gifted, and treasured.
Our work is always made with that physical reality in mind, with a strong attention to materials, printing techniques, and the small details that give an object its presence.

Rather than developing a single signature style, we've chosen a more attentive approach. Each project comes with its own story, its own constraints, and its own personality, and we like to respond to that context instead of imposing a fixed aesthetic. Sometimes the result is delicate and botanical, sometimes graphic or ornate, sometimes quiet and minimal. What matters to us is not consistency of style, but consistency of care — precise lines, balanced compositions, and a sense of craftsmanship that runs through everything we do. Our process is both thoughtful and agile.
Most of the illustrations are drawn digitally, which allows us to move quickly and adapt easily, something our clients often rely on when timelines are tight. We're used to working fast without compromising quality, combining a calm, focused approach with efficient execution. It's a rhythm we've refined over the years: careful work, delivered on time. Life outside the studio naturally feeds the work, too. Margot spends much of her free time gardening, planting flowers and watching things grow, and that slow, observant relationship to nature often finds its way into the drawings. In many ways, the studio works the same way — cultivating ideas patiently, giving them the right conditions, and shaping them with care.
Swindler & Swindler remains intentionally small and hands-on. We like direct conversations, close collaborations, and simple, human exchanges. If you have a project in mind, we'd be happy to hear your story and build something beautiful together.

Margot is an illustrator with a background in product design, which strongly influences the way she approaches her work. She thinks about images as part of an object, not just as visuals — how they will be printed, handled, textured, and experienced in real life. Her drawings are known for their precision, delicate lines, and refined compositions, often inspired by botanical forms and the quiet details of everyday life. Curious and deeply hands-on, she works mostly on iPad, blending the sensitivity of hand drawing with the flexibility and speed required by contemporary projects. When she's not in the studio, she's usually in her garden or spending time with her two cats, Yuzu and Peepa.
